You guys have been asking for this one for a while now, so we’re very excited to inform you that it’s almost here!
Because so many of you legends are working across multiple organisations, we’re making it easier to indicate your unique availability for each individual BART group.
You can’t be in two places at once, so this enhancement will help you to split your availability across multiple groups, agencies, and organisations.
To make it even easier for you to set your Availability for both now and into the future, we’re introducing templates.
Create an availability template to suit your schedule across a weekly period.
Change of schedule? No worries! You can override your template with updated statuses whenever you need.
We’re introducing a whole new module to help with pre-planning and campaign deployment activities.
This module generally won’t affect your current day-by-day usage of BART, but for District and Organisation-level planning and response, Strike Teams will be a game-changer.
Separate to the standard Availability module, you will be able to indicate your Strike Team availability for campaigns and remote deployments. This will allow management and operational staff to view members from across multiple groups and districts, who have indicated they’re available for extended or remote deployment.
HOW DO I GET THE NEW APP?
Easy! If you have automatic updates enabled for BART, the new version will install automatically when the new app is released. If not, you can update BART manually through the AppStore or Google Play.
